Re-evaluation of the single-wall nanotube diameter reported by A. Oberlin, M. Endo, and T. Koyama

We have scanned the original film of Fig. 1 and found that the diameter of the tube is about 3.3 nm. This is smaller than what the authors have mentioned in text (i.e. ~5nm).

Apart from above discussion, I would like to mention that isolated single walled tube can stabilize by flattening its cylindrical shape. The authors have introduced the paper discussing the bundle of tubes, which is likely to react differently from isolated tubes.
