The Nanotube Synthesis Site
The idea for the Nanotube Synthesis Site emerged at the
NASA/Rice workshop on Single-Wall Nanotube Synthesis
in 2003.
On a trial basis, we decided to make the results of our discussion
available to the scientific community on the web, and to open up
a shared database focused on single-wall nanotube synthesis. This
effort would be coordinated by experts in the respective fields.
The basic idea includes the following:
- A web-based database dedicated to synthesis,
with dynamical links
- Similar/Linked to The Nanotube Site
http://www.pa.msu.edu/cmp/csc/nanotube.html
- Objective:
Provide references, links, and state-of-the-art information
for techniques to grow SWNTs
- Current "Section Editors" include:
- The responsibility of the Editors is to moderate
and collect material for a particular topic.
