[CCTN11 Organization] [Invited Speakers] [Scope] [Format of the Symposium]

CCTN11 Organizers:

James Elliott (University of Cambridge, UK)
David Tomanek (Michigan State University, USA)

Invited speakers (alphabetical, partial list):

  Hakim Amara (CNRS-ONERA, France)
Jani Kotakoski (University of Helsinki, Finland)
Erik Neyts (University of Antwerp, Belgium)
Yasushi Shibuta (University of Tokyo, Japan)
Bo Song (Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shanghai, China)

Scope:

This satellite symposium of the NT11 conference focuses on quantitative understanding of unique physical properties of nanotube systems using advanced computational approaches. We will highlight the computational challenges in modeling these systems and discuss new tools to master these challenges. We intend to feature significant advances in theoretical understanding, in computational approaches and algorithms, as well as new hardware, including the upcoming generation of high-performance computers, capable of tackling these challenges.
