One way to facilitate the exchange of ideas in the field of nanotubes
is to establish a "central" site containing links of interest
to the Nanotube community. For the last couple of years,
The Nanotube Site
has been attempting to provide this information in a concise way.
In order to facilitate access to relevant information, software links
are selected and categorized according to their nature and relevancy to the
nanotube field. Current categories include
- General Information on Nanotubes:
Links to web pages providing general information on nanotubes,
in particular listings of nanotube properties.
- Nanotube Link Sites:
Web pages containing collections of links to nanotube related
sites.
- Sources of Nanotubes and Nanotube-Based Products:
Links to web pages dedicated to the production of nanotubes or
nanotube-based products.
- Optimized Geometries:
Links to web pages providing structural information on
nanotubes and related nanostructures.
- Sites Dedicated to Nanotubes:
Links to web pages containing only information on nanotubes.
- Sites Relevant to Nanotube Research:
Links to web pages containing information of specific interest
to the Nanotube community. This category includes pages with
information not only on nanotubes, but also related systems.
- Future Events in the Nanotube Field:
Web announcements of future nanotube-related conferences and
workshops.
- Past Events in the Nanotube Field:
Links to home pages of past nanotube-related conferences and
workshops.
- Nanotube Bibliography:
Web pages containing only references to nanotube literature,
particularly monographs.
- Job Market:
Submit a URL only if you offer or look for a position in the
specific field of Nanotubes. Web posting of positions is offered
by
nanoTEN Consulting.
To include a link to YOUR nanotube-related page, please
-
Set up a link to
The Nanotube Site
by including the following text in your html document:
<A HREF=http://www.pa.msu.edu/cmp/csc/nanotube.html>
<IMG SRC=http://www.pa.msu.edu/~tomanek/NTlogo.jpg
ALT=Nanotube-Site-Logo ALIGN=CENTER HEIGHT=50 WIDTH=50>
<FONT SIZE=+1><STRONG>The Nanotube
Site</STRONG></FONT></A>
This will appear in your document as:
The Nanotube Site
Only those sites are eligible to be linked, which cross-link
The Nanotube Site as described above.
